The gorge at Saklikent is 10 - 15 minutes from the villa and offers activities in spectacular scenery.  The river comes out of the narrow gorge into wide meanders in the flood plain. You can walk up the gorge or rubber-ring (is that a word?) down river for a couple of miles in about 3/4 hour.

Half way down, you stop for a mud bath.  Not sure that it did our complexions any good though!

Idyllic for a leisurely lunch!
